CWSP Services

CWSP welcomes departmental, academic unit, and individual requests for professional development, academic development, and faculty engagement sessions on specific disciplinary topics.

  • Department Chairs and Academic unit heads are encouraged to use this form for faculty engagements around the GEP Communications in the Major requirements.
  • Hands-on faculty engagement sessions are also available and focus in four key areas that include technology and AI in the classroom, multiliteracies across the curriculum, and the essentials of written, oral, and digital communication. Use this form to request a hands-on faculty engagement session.
  • Assisted Inquiry is a service designed to help faculty investigate the nature and effectiveness of writing and/or speaking in their courses. On a limited basis, members of the Campus Writing and Speaking Program will help faculty design classroom-based investigations of writing and/or speaking assignments, activities, and interventions.
