Reflective Educational Design Certificates: CTC, ITC, TH!NK

The Office for Faculty Excellence offers three different certificates based in Reflective Educational Design |RED|.  |RED| is designed to provide support and recognition for faculty members at NC State who are dedicated to reflective teaching and learning. The certifications help faculty members advance towards becoming scholarly teachers.

The Inclusive Teaching Certification |ITC| is designed for faculty and teaching graduate students to reflect on multiple facets of inclusive teaching, encompassing the creation of a welcoming, equitable course climate, the design and implementation of accessible and inclusive classroom practices and assessments, and the selection and implementation of inclusive, diverse course content.

The RED TH!NK: Cultivating Critical and Creative Thinking Certification is designed to introduce faculty to language, teaching strategies, and ways to provide feedback to students to support them in developing these skills, both generally, and in the context of your discipline.
