Aaron Hipp
Bio
J. Aaron Hipp, PhD, is a Professor of Community Health and Sustainability in the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management and Associate Director of Social and Behavioral Science Applications in the Center for Geospatial Analytics at NC State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. His research focuses on equitable access and spaces to play outdoors with specific attention on measurement development. Dr. Hipp currently instructs courses on nature and wellness and evidence-based decision making. He serves on the Steering Committee for the National Physical Activity Plan and is an Interdisciplinary Research Leader with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.
