Business Operations and HR Service Center

In addition to supporting the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost, the overall goal of the Business Operations and HR Service Center is to be a one-stop shop where staff provides expert response and care for small- to mid-size groups under the Provost’s Office umbrella.

The center was originally created for NC State’s academies to streamline business processes and operations for both HR and financials, while also being fiscally responsible by not hiring for these services for each academy/smaller unit. Services have expanded to include support for the Office of Global Engagement and the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity for HR items upon organizational restructuring. Additionally, the center provides these services on an as-needed basis for many other units under the Provost’s Office umbrella through times of transition or need.
