Join CWSP for a practical workshop on strategies for giving meaningful feedback and assessing student work without overwhelming your time.

This session is designed for faculty and graduate instructors across all disciplines who want to make their grading and feedback processes more efficient, equitable, and impactful. Together, we’ll:

• Explore low-stakes writing and speaking activities that provide feedback without adding grading burden.
• Practice strategies for prioritizing comments that support revision and learning.
• Review tools and approaches (including rubrics, peer review, and AI-assisted options) to streamline assessment.
• Discuss ways to align assessment with learning outcomes while maintaining transparency for students.

Participants will leave with concrete strategies, sample tools, and adaptable templates to use in their courses immediately.
