OFE Faculty Fellow Opportunities
Join the OFE team! We are still seeking two Office for Faculty Excellence Faculty Fellows for the 2026-27 academic year.
Each fellowship begins August 17, 2026, and ends May 14, 2027. Some positions may have the possibility for renewal through a second year. Applicants should not have served as an OFE Faculty Fellow previously.
In addition to submitting the application form, all prospective fellows must provide a letter of support from their department head. These letters should be emailed to Jonathan Holloway (jphollow@ncsu.edu).
The fellow positions are:
Campus Writing and Speaking Program (CWSP) Fellow
Compensation: $10,000
Reports to: Kirsti Cole and Roy Schwartzman, Co-Directors, CWSP
This fellow will assist with efforts to build and sustain faculty writing groups across disciplines and career stages, conduct outreach to all colleges to recruit participants and promote writing support initiatives university-wide, plan and coordinate one faculty writing retreat per semester, organize writing-related events and programming in support of faculty writing productivity, develop resources to support faculty writing across disciplines and career stages, collaborate with CWSP co-directors and OFE staff on strategic planning around faculty development, and produce brief written documentation and reflections on fellowship activities as requested.
Faculty Learning Community Fellows (1 Positions)
Compensation: $1,500 each
These fellows will assist with the facilitation of a faculty learning community (at least four meetings during the academic year). The available position is:
