Faculty Awards and Recognition
Faculty awards are an important component of faculty development and advancement. Awards can be beneficial to faculty at all stages of their career. Both internal and external recognition can increase visibility for new research opportunities or provide deserving acknowledgment for career achievements and contributions to the field.

Hollylynne S. Lee Selected as Finalist for Cherry Award for Great Teaching
Hollylynne Lee, Ph.D., professor of mathematics and statistics education in the NC State College of Education and senior faculty fellow at the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation, has been selected as one of three finalists for Baylor University’s highly prestigious Robert Foster Cherry Award for Great Teaching.

Two Faculty Win Holladay Medal
Two faculty members received the Alexander Quarles Holladay Medal for Excellence, the highest honor bestowed by NC State and the university’s Board of Trustees. Chancellor Randy Woodson will recognize the awardees during a virtual Celebration of Faculty Excellence on May 4.
