COIL Programs With Nagoya University

The Office of Global Engagement, the NC Japan Center and Nagoya University offered several COIL courses this past 2021 spring semester. Faculty and students from “Composite Materials” (MSE 556) + “Seminar on Advanced Process Engineering” (Nagoya University) as well as “Interpersonal Communication” (COM 112) + “Intercultural Training Methods” (Nagoya University) share their experiences about this very successful pilot program. #NCStateUnplugged: Sign up Now for Week 3!

Last summer we offered you a series of Faculty Conversations, which were very well attended, but this summer we have taken a different approach, which might bring us some relief after a year online. #NCStateUnplugged Summer 2021 is a series of email blasts, delivered weekly during the month of July, designed to advance the professional development of our faculty during this summer, but open to staff and graduate students as well.

Each week is designed to help the reader/listener to work through a different aspect of getting ready to go back in the Fall: We are offering original content, journaling prompts, mini-podcasts with subject matter experts, and curated resources such as videos and readings that support the central theme of the week.
Even if you missed the first two weeks, there is still time to sign up for Week 3, which goes out tomorrow. Just fill out our registration form here.
