Reading Circles
If you are still interested in participating in a Reading Circle this semester, but did not sign up prior to the deadline, we have a limited number of spaces available in the following groups:
- Tuesdays, 2:00 p.m., reading Agile Faculty (meets on Main Campus)
- Fridays, 9:00 a.m., reading Agile Faculty (meets on Main Campus)
- Wednesdays, 2:00 p.m., reading Zig Zag (meets on Main Campus)
- Thursdays, 3:00 p.m., reading Zig Zag (meets on Centennial Campus)
These spaces are first-come, first-served. Please email Jonathan Holloway (jphollow@ncsu.edu) by 12:00 noon tomorrow, Tuesday, January 15 if interested.
If you had previously signed up for a Spring Reading Circle, you will be notified about your group this week.
Faculty Writing Retreat

OFD’s next Faculty Writing Retreat of the semester will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 (8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) at the Hunt Library Faculty Commons (Centennial Campus). Sign up now to join faculty colleagues in this private and comfortable space where you can find uninterrupted time to write your article, grant proposal, book chapter, or dossier materials. Coffee/tea/water will be provided. Registration is for the full-day event, but please feel free to come and go as needed — join us all day, just the morning, just the afternoon, or even just an hour or two!
