Christin Phelps teaches DSC 295 – Introduction to AI Ethics for the Data Science Academy. The course provides a broad introduction to ethical impacts and implications of artificial intelligence to students from all majors. One of the impacts discussed is the environmental one – the power and water necessary to run the servers and networks required for AI to function.
