Faculty On Track

Faculty On Track

Faculty On Track (FOT) is a research-based and theory-driven six session workshop series designed to provide new and junior faculty with an organized and informed approach to understanding and engaging in ongoing preparation for evaluation in the Reappointment, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT) process.

The RPT process is an examination of the accumulation of a faculty member’s scholarship over a period of time. New and junior faculty in tenure track positions must ensure that reviewers internal and external to their department, college, and university can recognize and appreciate the significance and impact of their scholarship.

Participants will expand their peer network through collaborative activities that provoke an exchange of ideas and perspectives.   There will be opportunities to engage with colleagues from different disciplines and at varied stages of their careers. The Faculty On Track Program introduces strategies, resources, and supports to aid tenure-track faculty in navigating the tenure process.

Program meetings are designed to provide opportunities for sharing ideas with peers from across the University in an informal setting. Registration is now open!
