New Faculty Orientation
New Faculty Orientation (NFO) is an event sponsored by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and organized by the Office for Faculty Excellence. NFO is offered for all full-time tenured, tenure-track and full-time professional track faculty new to the University and for those who have come to NC State within the past year, or did not attend the preceding year’s NFO.
The purpose of the event is to provide information, skills and resources for faculty to successfully begin teaching, research, and extension and engagement activities at NC State and to familiarize faculty with NC State.
The program provides opportunities for networking among new faculty members and interaction with experienced NC State faculty and university administrators.
