About the NC State Conference on Faculty Excellence
The NC State University Office for Faculty Excellence (OFE), Digital Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA), and the NC State University Libraries invite faculty, postdoctoral scholars and professional staff from all six member institutions of the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges (NC State, Meredith College, Saint Augustine’s University, Shaw University, Wake Tech Community College, William Peace University) to attend the 2023 NC State Conference on Faculty Excellence, which will be held March 9, 2023. This brand-new event replaces OFE’s long-running Teaching and Learning Symposium and DELTA’s Summer Shorts, and brings together campus partners with an investment in faculty excellence. Leading experts from NC State’s Office for Faculty Excellence, DELTA and University Libraries will offer workshops throughout the day focused on the following subjects:
Mentoring and Career Mapping
Creative and Critical Thinking
Scholarship of Teaching and Learning
Online and Hybrid Education
Library Support of Teaching and Learning
Poster Session
Location and Parking
The 2023 NC State Conference on Faculty Excellence will be held in the Duke Energy Hall on the second floor of the Hunt Library on NC State’s Centennial Campus, 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC 27606. Directions and parking information can be found here.
Continental breakfast will be available from 8:30 – 9 a.m. with welcome remarks beginning at 8:55 a.m. The first workshop and interactive sessions will begin at 9:10 a.m. A complete schedule of the day can be found here.

All non-NC State employees will need to create a Brickyard account before registering. Instructions for setting that up can be found here.
Members in the six member institutions of the Cooperating Raleigh Colleges (NC State, Meredith College, Saint Augustine’s University, Shaw University, Wake Tech Community College, William Peace University) can register here.
