Open Textbook Grant at NC State

The Open Textbook Grant at NC State is a collaboration between the Libraries, DELTA, and Wolfpack Outfitters. NC State University has partnered with Rice University’s OpenStax as a new member of its Institutional Partner Program.

OpenStax is the largest provider of no-cost Open Educational Resources (OER) in the U. S. The OpenStax Institutional Partner Program is for institutions ready to make an impact on campus by dedicating the necessary time and resources to work alongside faculty and utilize OER to drive student success, retention, and completion.

OER course materials are available at no cost to faculty, and they allow you to adapt and redistribute the content with no or limited restrictions so that you can modify and disseminate the resources in ways that fit your and your student’s needs.

Apply for an Open Textbook Grant
