Dr. Rebecca Sanchez
Bio
Dr. Rebecca Sanchez serves as Director of NC State’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). In this role, she collaborates with the QEP implementation team to enhance student success through Packways: Learning by Doing, the university’s 2024-2029 QEP.
Previously, Sanchez served as Senior Instructional Designer and Digital Learning Assessment Lead for Digital Education and Learning Technology Applications (DELTA) at NC State. There, she collaborated with faculty and DELTA teams to analyze complex instructional challenges and develop, implement and evaluate innovative and pedagogically sound solutions. She also worked with administrators, faculty, staff and students to create and assess impactful learning experiences and enhance the quality of education at NC State. Sanchez has worked individually and collaboratively to build systematic cultures of assessment, reflection and growth based on innovative and strategic data-informed decision making.
Sanchez has been a member of DELTA’s Course Quality and Wicked Problems, Wolfpack Solutions teams. She has strong interests in student agency and metacognition, as well as data-informed instructional decisions. Sanchez earned a Ph.D. and Master of Science in cognitive and developmental psychology from the University of Kentucky, and a Bachelor of Science in psychology, as well as a certificate in education, from Tulane University.
