Bio

Dr. Maricar Aguilos is an Assistant Research Professor at the Forestry and Environmental Resources Department of North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, USA. She uses the Eddy Covariance System to evaluate atmospheric carbon and water fluxes. Her research focuses on disturbed forest ecosystems, pine plantations, bioenergy sites, and wetlands. She also writes papers on ecohydrology using long-term datasets at local and regional levels. She has infused modeling and machine learning approaches into her empirical datasets.
