Jory Weintraub

Bio

Dr. Jory Weintraub is Director of Science Engagement in NC State’s Office of University Interdisciplinary Programs (OUIP). In this position, he develops, implements, facilitates and supports science engagement activities and initiatives across all OUIP units. He has a BS in biochemistry/cell biology from UC San Diego, and a Ph.D. in immunology from UNC Chapel Hill, and received an NSF postdoctoral fellowship in STEM outreach/education. His professional interests include STEM outreach, science communication, societal impacts of research and diversity, equity and inclusion in STEM.
