Bio

Fernando Garcia Menendez uses computer models and data analysis to explore questions related to air pollution, climate change, and environmental policy. He develops tools based on high-performance computing, uncertainty analysis and integrated assessment modeling to simulate interactions between environmental and human systems at varying spatial and temporal scales. His research interests include climate-air pollution interations, wildland fires, public health, and energy systems.
