NC State students, faculty, staff and alumni, as well as the general public, are invited to attend the Diversity in STEM Symposium: Making Space for Ourselves and Others. The event will include sessions on salary negotiation, creating a personal brand, finding and navigating a diverse work environment, and respecting community culture in STEM research. This event is free, but registration is required by Jan. 30.

This year’s theme is "Making a Difference: Global Health and its Social, Economic, and Political Impact." The submission deadline for panel discussion, workshop, and story-telling abstracts is 5pm on July 14. The submission deadline for poster abstracts is 5pm on August 31.

FoodCon 2016 is a one-day conference focused on the business of sustainable food. Its goal is to bring together a diverse audience of students, community members, and business professionals who have a shared interest in the sustainable food industry.
