Partners from across NC State are coming together in 2022 to share and catalyze new cutting-edge, equity-focused and equity-relevant research. The university’s first Equity Research Symposium will contemplate the question: “what does equity mean to me?” throughout the day.

Undergraduate students from NC State and Summer Research Programs will share their innovative and creative research with the campus at the 18th NC State University Annual Summer Undergraduate Research and Creativity Symposium where Event is open to all faculty, staff, students and general public.
Hosted by NC State, this conference offers a multi track system of enriched, informative, and relevant breakout sessions that are tailored to three main audiences; student veterans, higher education staff and faculty, and community professionals who have a primary touch point with military service members, veterans or their families. The conference will also host two student panels, a variety of exhibitors, and offer several special topic poster presentations. Registration deadline is May 31.
The event features an awards ceremony, poster session, networking and lunch. Nominees for the Outstanding Global Engagement Award and Jackson Rigney International Service Award will be recognized, and the 2019 award recipients will be announced at this event.
In this Lunch and Learn you will have the opportunity to engage with fellow faculty members and compare the challenges you’ve faced. Work through the challenges together with knowledgeable senior faculty members.

NC State’s Research Leadership Academy will host a junior faculty forum on "Enhancing Success in Navigating the Path to Tenure." Faculty will have the opportunity to question a panel of senior faculty and university leaders about concerns and challenges as junior faculty in today’s research environment.
The symposium is open to all NC State undergraduate students, undergraduate students who have worked with NC State mentors and participants in formal undergraduate research programs at NC State (i.e. Summer REU’s).
