Bio

Zeljko Pantic received his B.S. and M.S. from the University of Belgrade (Belgrade, Serbia) and his Ph.D. from North Carolina State University (Raleigh, NC), all in Electrical Engineering. After graduating in 2013, Dr. Pantic joined Utah State University (Logan, UT) as an Assistant Professor. He also served as the Associate Director of the Electric Vehicle and Roadway research facility at USU. Since 2019, he has been an Associate Professor at North Carolina State University. Dr. Pantic is an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Transportation Electrification and an IEEE IAS Transportation Systems Committee member. Dr. Pantic was the Program Chair for the Conference on Electric Roads and Vehicles in 2015 and 2016 and a reviewer for more than 20 transactions, journals, and grant panels. He has been awarded multiple patents and patent applications. His primary areas of interest are offshore energy and power systems, power systems and charging of underwater autonomous and remote-operated vehicles, pressure-tolerant electronics, electric transportation, wired and wireless charging systems, personal mobility and micromobility, resonant power converters, and microgrid systems.
