Bio

As Associate Director of the NC State Climate Office, I am interested in applied weather and climate problems that are important to NC. I have extensive experience using atmospheric and regional climate models for various applied climate problems. My recent experience includes using downscaled climate change data to update Precipitation Intensity-Duration-Frequency Curves for NC. I am also a data creator and have created high-resolution climate change projections for the locations within the tropics, subtropics, and mid-latitudes. I am a co-author on the 4th and 5th National Climate Assessments – US Caribbean Chapter.
