Bio
Corey is an assistant state climatologist at the North Carolina State Climate Office, and the office’s lead for drought and fire weather. His work includes developing web-based data display tools such as the Fire Weather Intelligence Portal and the Air Quality Portal, and editing the Climate Blog, which shares the story of North Carolina’s weather and climate. Corey’s expertise also includes weather history, extreme events, and the networks of monitoring stations across the state.
