The benefits of mindfulness practices have been realized with health for several years; however, its role to help with student learning and memory is still being explored. Series facilitator Dr. Maria Gallardo-Williams will be joined by OFE Faculty Fellow Dr. Erica Kosal for a discussion about what is known from the literature on how mindfulness can help with student learning and mental health.
Partners from across NC State are coming together in 2022 to share and catalyze new cutting-edge, equity-focused and equity-relevant research. The university’s first Equity Research Symposium will contemplate the question: “what does equity mean to me?” throughout the day.
