Eclipse Day Celebration

The College of Sciences invites you to celebrate Eclipse Day on the Brickyard. For the first time in 99 years, a total solar eclipse will cross the United States. During this rare celestial event, the moon will pass between the sun and the Earth, appearing to block the sun for almost an hour and a half. The eclipse will occur during the afternoon, peaking at 2:44 p.m.

Gregg Museum of Art & Design Reopening

The new Gregg Museum of Art & Design will open its doors at 1903 Hillsborough Street. The day of free events will begin with a ribbon-cutting ceremony followed by exhibition viewings, activities, artist demonstrations, tours and performances.

Entrepalooza

Entrepalooza is NC State’s fall festival celebrating entrepreneurs and innovators. The event brings together NC State students, alumni and the off-campus community and includes interactive displays, a mobile makerspace, delicious North Carolina treats, fun games and a 60-second pitch competition.

Symposium on Biomedical Engineering

The Symposium is presented by NC State University and Nagoya University, and will feature a distinguished speaker from each institution, followed by a panel discussion on further collaborations between NC State and Nagoya University.

Triangle Global Health 2017 Annual Conference

Come to the third annual Triangle Global Health Conference, held this year on the NC State campus in the Talley Student Union. This year’s theme is "Making a Difference: Global Health and its Social, Economic, and Political Impact." The submission deadline for panel discussion, workshop, and story-telling abstracts is 5pm on July 14. The submission deadline for poster abstracts is 5pm on August 31.
