The Office of Faculty Development cordially invites NC State faculty and staff to attend this one-day event. The keynote speaker will be be Dr. Thomas J. Tobin, co-author of Reach Everyone, Teach Everyone: Universal Design for Learning in Higher Education, our Fall 2019 Reading Circle selection. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions led by NC State faculty, and meet and talk with peers who are interested in teaching and learning.

ReCONNECT to Technological Opportunity Forum

If we had unlimited access to high speed Internet, what opportunities would that connection provide for our communities? How can we start planning to make sure that all North Carolinians benefit? At the ReCONNECT to Technological Opportunity Forum, participants will explore what their communities can do to leverage high speed internet in an equitable way. The forum is organized by the Institute for Emerging Issues.

NC State Research and Innovation Forum

The forum is a new event derived from what has traditionally been the morning session of the Research Retreat. Similarly to the Research Retreat, the topics discussed during the forum’s agenda should be of interest to all NC State faculty. Please note there is no registration fee for this year’s event, but participants should register as soon as possible so they can be included in all event communications and updates.

Department Head Lunch and Learn – Proposed Changes to ClassEval Reports

This month's topic will be proposed changes to the ClassEval reports used for the RPT process. Department Head Lunch and Learn meetings, sponsored by the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost and organized by the Office of Faculty Development, are open to all department heads.

Postdoctoral Research Symposium

Graduate Student Research Symposium

The Graduate Student Association and the Graduate School present the 14th Annual NC State University Graduate Student Research Symposium. The event is open to the public and will include poster presentations from more than 200 NC State graduate students.
