Dr. Monast works with the research community, policy-makers, and practitioners to plan for and implement energy and air quality climate solutions in the transportation sector. Recent efforts include promoting more-effective public and school transportation options, supporting transportation demand management efforts, planning for public transportation fleet transitions to low and no emission vehicles, and researching emerging transportation modes such as microtransit and autonomous vehicles.
