Visual Arts Specialist

Bio

Since 2012, I’ve been thriving as a visual communications specialist, bringing a decade of creativity and expertise to every project I undertake. Currently, I serve as the lead graphic designer for the North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies (NCICS) at the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) in Asheville, NC. There my primary role involves crafting compelling visuals and designs for the National Climate Assessment. I’ve had the privilege of contributing to three assessments, each time ensuring that complex climate data is accessible and engaging to a wide audience.
Beyond my work with climate assessments, I’ve honed my skills in UX/UI design, helping to create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces. I have a passion for tackling design challenges that blend seemingly unrelated or clashing elements into a harmonious and cohesive whole. This unique approach allows me to deliver innovative solutions that stand out and resonate.
