Fanxing Li

Bio

Dr. Fanxing Li is an Alcoa Professor in the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department at North Carolina State University. Dr. Li received his BS and MS degrees in chemical engineering from Tsinghua University in 2001 and 2004, respectively. He received his PhD at the Ohio State University in 2009. He has published over 120 peer-reviewed articles and has 13 issued patents. He has also won numerous awards including the “20 under 40” by the American Society for Engineering Education, the U.S. National Science Foundation CAREER Award, Humboldt Fellowship for Experienced Researchers, SABIC Young Professional Award, among others.
