Join Chancellor Randy Woodson, Provost Warwick Arden and Student Body President Melanie Flowers as they and others welcome the class to NC State. ReCONNECT to Move Forward: Impact on Higher Education and the Future of Work

The Institute for Emerging Issues will host ReCONNECT to Move Forward, a three-part virtual meeting series. This meeting will examine what we are learning about the impact of COVID-19 in higher education and how colleges and universities are adapting in the near-term to meet the needs of students in an inclusive and equitable way. We’ll also hear about how institutions of higher education are reimagining future approaches to support students, businesses and their communities.

The Gerald H. Elkan Distinguished Lecture in Science and Society will feature award-winning author Thomas Hager. Hager will discuss How to Talk About Science in a Post-Truth World. Join us for this online event hosted by NC State’s Park Scholarships Class of 2022.
