ReCONNECT to Move Forward: A Digitally Inclusive North Carolina

The Institute for Emerging Issues will host ReCONNECT to Move Forward, a three-part virtual meeting series. This meeting will highlight the changing landscape of digital inclusion in North Carolina since the Feb. 10 Emerging Issues Forum, ReCONNECT to Technological Opportunity, and what partnerships and investments are needed to ensure that all communities regardless of race, income or geography have access to this critical lifeline now. With an ever-changing technological landscape, we’ll also discuss how to ensure flexibility to meet our future digital needs.

ReCONNECT to Move Forward: Mental Health and Well-Being

The Institute for Emerging Issues will host ReCONNECT to Move Forward, a three-part virtual meeting series. This meeting will examine the increase in mental health challenges as a result of COVID-19 and how we address near-term needs while building support systems to thrive in a post-pandemic world.

Class of 2020 Virtual Commencement Exercises

NC State University is excited to announce that we will celebrate the class of 2020 with our first-ever virtual commencement ceremony. This special event will stream on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. EST to honor the graduates of spring, summer, and fall 2020.

Wellness Day (No Classes)

Four wellness days have been added to the Spring 2021 academic calendar. No classes will be held and instructors are asked to avoid any deadlines or tests on days following Wellness Days.
