RPT Overview Session for Tenured/Tenure-Track Faculty

Every spring, the Provost's Office offers general information meetings on the NC State reappointment, promotion and tenure (RPT) process. This session is designed for new tenure-track faculty, those who will be entering the RPT cycle, or individuals involved in the RPT process.

Every spring, the Provost's Office offers general information meetings on the NC State reappointment, promotion and tenure (RPT) process. This session is devoted to the promotion process for non tenure-track (NTT) faculty with professorial rank. Interested NTT faculty, department heads and RPT department and college administrators are encouraged to attend.

2017 Education Action Summit

Taking Collective Action: Preparing Wake County Youth for Post-Secondary Success is the theme of the 2017 Action Summit. The College of Education and Wake Partnership for Postsecondary Success will explore the use of collective impact action strategies to address how communities can engage, create, and commit to a plan to support and serve area Wake County youth in their quest for postsecondary and career success.

NC State Passport Fair

Passport Services will be holding special hours on Monday, March 20th to accommodate walk-ins. The Passport Fair is open to students, employees and the public. Appointments are not necessary for this day only. Please review the requirements and come prepared with all necessary documentation, copies and fees.

2017 Gerald H. Elkan Distinguished Lecture in Science and Society

James B. Hunt Jr. Library Auditorium 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC

Dr. Marc Edwards, professor of civil and environmental engineering at Virginia Tech, will present the first Gerald H. Elkan Distinguished Lecture in Science and Society entitled, “Truth Seeking by the Lights of Perverted Science: Exposing the Flint Water Disaster.” Presented by the Park Scholarships at NC State, with support from the NCSU Libraries and the College of Sciences.

Graduate Student Research Symposium

McKimmon Conference & Training Center 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, United States

The Graduate Student Association and the Graduate School present the 12th Annual NC State University Graduate Student Research Symposium. More than 200 graduate students will present posters about their research projects. Posters are judged and prizes awarded for top research presentations in a range of disciplines.
