2017 Gerald H. Elkan Distinguished Lecture in Science and Society
James B. Hunt Jr. Library Auditorium 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NCDr. Marc Edwards, professor of civil and environmental engineering at Virginia Tech, will present the first Gerald H. Elkan Distinguished Lecture in Science and Society entitled, “Truth Seeking by the Lights of Perverted Science: Exposing the Flint Water Disaster.” Presented by the Park Scholarships at NC State, with support from the NCSU Libraries and the College of Sciences.
Graduate Student Research Symposium

More than 200 graduate students will present posters about their research projects. Posters are judged and prizes awarded for top research presentations in a range of disciplines.

You will see plants and wildlife, take pictures using your own phone or camera, and learn how to use iNaturalist to contribute data to the Wolfpack Citizen Science Challenge.
