MLK, Jr. Commemoration Featuring Antiracism Scholar Ibram X. Kendi

NC State’s 2020 Martin Luther King, Jr. Campus Commemoration will bring National Book Award Winner Ibram X. Kendi to campus. Kendi is professor and founding director of the Antiracist Research and Policy Center at American University. The talk is open to students, faculty and staff.

ReCONNECT to Technological Opportunity Forum

At the ReCONNECT to Technological Opportunity Forum, participants will explore what their communities can do to leverage high speed internet in an equitable way. The forum is organized by the Institute for Emerging Issues.

The Office of Faculty Development cordially invites NC State faculty and staff to attend this one-day event. The keynote speaker will be be Dr. Thomas J. Tobin, co-author of Reach Everyone, Teach Everyone: Universal Design for Learning in Higher Education, our Fall 2019 Reading Circle selection. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions led by NC State faculty, and meet and talk with peers who are interested in teaching and learning.
