Packapalooza
Packapalooza™ is a block party and street festival on Hillsborough Street capping off Wolfpack Welcome Week at the start of the academic year. We have everything it takes to celebrate in NC State style, including great music, activities throughout the day, and fun entertainment for the whole family. The event is free and open to the public.
Live From the International Space Station
Talley Student Union, State BallroomNC State University and the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics will host a live video Q&A with NASA astronaut Christina Koch, an alumna of both institutions who is currently serving as a flight engineer aboard the International Space Station. During the Q&A, Koch will answer questions from students at both schools. NC State’s Wolfbytes team will also livestream the entire program of events from inside the State Ballroom.
Entrepalooza
Stafford CommonsEntrepalooza is NC State's annual festival celebrating entrepreneurship and innovation. Event highlights include the Entrepreneurs Showcase and Minute to Pitch It, plus free food and giveaways!
Parents and Families Weekend
Multiple Venues Across Campus NC, United StatesParents and Families Weekend is a three-day event inviting parents and families back to campus to visit their student(s) and take in a weekend of Wolfpack traditions.
Research Leadership Academy Junior Faculty Forum
Hunt Library, Duke Energy Hall 1070 Partners Way, Raleigh, NC, United StatesNC State’s Research Leadership Academy is hosting a junior faculty forum for assistant and non-tenured associate Faculty will have the opportunity to question a panel of senior faculty and university leaders about concerns and challenges as junior faculty in today’s research environment. NC State Research and Innovation Forum
McKimmon Conference & Training Center 1101 Gorman Street, Raleigh, United StatesThe forum is a new event derived from what has traditionally been the morning session of the Research Retreat. Similarly to the Research Retreat, the topics discussed during the forum’s agenda should be of interest to all NC State faculty. Please note there is no registration fee for this year’s event, but participants should register as soon as possible so they can be included in all event communications and updates.
