Packways HIE Scavenger Hunt

The Packways HIE Scavenger Hunt invites new first-year and transfer students to explore campus and meet the offices behind NC State’s High-Impact Experiences (HIEs). Students will collect stickers and signatures at each stop on their official Packways Passport journey and earn prizes upon completion.

How it Works

• Pick up a Packways HIE Passport at HIE offices listed on the passport or download and print one 
• Visit listed offices throughout the semester.  The following offices have best times to drop-in to interact with staff:   
  • Study Abroad Walk-In Hours
    • Tuesdays from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the Global Engagement Hub (Talley Student Center)
    • Wednesdays from 1 – 3 p.m. in Holmes Hall
  • Office of Undergraduate Research
    • Mondays: 8 – 9:30 a.m., 11 a.m.- 1 p.m., and 2 – 4:00 p.m.
    • Tuesdays: 12 – 2 p.m. and 3 – 5 p.m.
    • Wednesdays: 8 – 9:30 a.m., 12 – 2 p.m., and 3 – 5 p.m.
    • Thursdays: 12 – 2 p.m.
    • Fridays: 11 a.m – 1 p.m.
• Drop off completed passports by October 31 at the University Housing Office, 1112 Pullen Hall
  • You’ll be contacted to pick up your prize (small prize for 3 stickers, larger prize for 5 stickers)
