Join the College of Sciences for its annual State of the Sciences event, which returns to its original lecture format and features creativity experts Michele and Robert Root-Bernstein. The event is free and open to the public, but registration is required.
The event features an awards ceremony, poster session, networking and lunch. Nominees for the Outstanding Global Engagement Award and Jackson Rigney International Service Award will be recognized, and the 2019 award recipients will be announced at this event.

The event is open to NC State students, faculty, staff as well as the general public.
Art2Wear, the iconic College of Design student-run fashion show, returns with the theme of “Circularity,” exploring sustainability in the materials and design process. The Department of Art+Design will also be showcasing an interactive media exhibition before the show.

The Office of Faculty Development has partnered with NCSU Libraries to offer Faculty Writing Retreats each month for tenure and non-tenure track faculty. Space will be limited for each monthly retreat, so please sign up early if interested.
A new group of NC State students will become alumni May 11 at PNC Arena. The university commencement ceremony will start at 9 a.m., but NC State college and department ceremonies will occur throughout May 9, 10 and 11.
