Former Vice Provost and Director of the NC State University Libraries Susan K. Nutter, who retired in 2017 after a 30-year career as one of NC State’s and the library world’s most dynamic and influential leaders, passed away on March 25.

A memorial will be held on Friday, May 31 at 10:30 a.m. in the Auditorium at the James B. Hunt Jr. Library followed by a reception in the Skyline Reading Room on the fifth floor of the library. The memorial and reception are open to the public.
