Faculty Excellence Abounds

The Celebration of Faculty Excellence is held each spring to recognize outstanding faculty who have received prestigious state, national and international awards, accolades or other distinctions during this academic year. This year, NC State honored 41 faculty members during the 2024 Celebration of Faculty Excellence on April 30.

Turning of the Tassels

Spring 2024 commencement took place this past Saturday at PNC Arena, with 6,667 students turning their tassels and becoming proud Wolfpack alumni. Their journey, started during the COVID-19 pandemic, took them many places throughout campus and around the world, and now they’re ready to start a new journey. Here, we survey some of their stories, how NC State shaped lives, and how they plan on taking Think and Do into the future.

Chris DePerno Named 2024-25 ACE Fellow

The American Council on Education (ACE) announced that Chris DePerno, a professor in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources, has been named an ACE Fellow for the 2024-25 academic year.
