Thank you for your hard work and patience through another tumultuous month. Though the beginning of the academic year didn’t go as we hoped for, we are glad to be able to continue to provide our students with instruction and resources for success.
Strategic Plan Task Force Reports Now Available
NC State’s strategic planning process moves forward again, with all nine strategic plan task force reports posted on individual task force websites. The campus community can review reports and provide feedback to the Strategic Planning Executive Steering Committee through Monday, September 21.
Services for Success
In the midst of countless changes during the COVID-19 pandemic, NC State’s focus on student success remains steadfast. This semester, the Academic Success Center (ASC) opens to provide another avenue for the university to fulfill its land-grant mission.
Racial Equity: Response to Student Feedback, Commitments and Action

Aligning Strengths to Advance Medicine
The Comparative Medicine Institute strengthens research and training across disciplines to pioneer advances in biomedical sciences.
Supporting Academic Continuity
Academic continuity planning in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic marked many faculty members’ first foray into online teaching. Planning is underway for the fall semester, and in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, faculty and university partners are there to help CHASS colleagues with their academic continuity questions.

University Tutorial Center to be Relocated and Renamed this Fall
This fall, the University Tutorial Center will become the Academic Success Center and move its offices and student spaces from Park Shops to a newly renovated space on the second floor of D.H. Hill, Jr. Library.
