July 2019 Provost’s Corner
Campus stays busy this time of year with summer classes, New Student Orientation, campus, construction and more. Even though many faculty and students are off on summer adventures, the Office of New Student Programs will welcome more than 5,000 first-year and 1,300 transfer students through 28 orientation sessions.

After the academic year ends, an activity-filled summer starts at NC State. That includes nearly 30 New Student Orientation sessions for first-time first-year and transfer students.
D.H. Hill Jr. Library Renovations Take Shape
Construction at D.H. Hill Jr. Library means more than just an aesthetic update — changes will also support the overall success of the campus community. The most noticeable change will be the new Academic Success Center.
