Bio

Dr. Alali is an Associate Professor of Epidemiology at the Department of Biostatistics & Epidemiology, College of Public Health, East Tennessee State University (ETSU). His academic interests are in One Health approach to zoonotic diseases. He educates public health students about One Health and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and communication. His research activities focused on the epidemiology of antimicrobial resistance at the human-animal-environment interface. Due to his interest in global One Health, Dr. Alali has collaborated and worked in multiple academic public health institutions internationally.
