Kristen Fontana

Bio

Kristen has worked in various non-profit and academic settings, offering valuable communications and program management expertise. Previously, Kristen has served as the Climate Science Translation and Communications Fellow with the Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center. Her background includes a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources with a minor in environmental sciences and a Master of Climate Change and Society. Both degrees were achieved with honor from NC State University. Kristen’s strong background in science paired with her passion for writing and design makes her an excellent science communicator. Her skills have been used to develop various educational pieces including fact sheets and postcards, along with various science writing pieces.
