Organizational Transitions to Optimize Student Success

Effective Aug. 1, several changes within units reporting up to the Office of the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost will take place to align with the new UNC System policy, “Equality Within the University of North Carolina.” To that end, the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity will become the Office of Institutional Equity and Equal Opportunity.

In October 2022, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Warwick Arden convened the Black Faculty Retention and Success Task Force. A report of findings from that task force is now available.
