2018 Awards for Excellence Winners

Congratulations to the twelve NC State employees who received the NC State University Award for Excellence on Monday June 11, 2018. The Award for Excellence is the most prestigious honor bestowed upon non-faculty employees at NC State. Three this year also were named recipients of the 2018 Governor’s Award for Excellence Program, the highest honor a state employee can receive.

Leadership Change in Poole College of Management

Annette L. Ranft, dean of the NC State Poole College of Management, is leaving NC State at the end of July. Frank Buckless, currently associate dean for faculty and academic affairs in the college and KPMG Professor of Accounting, was appointed as interim dean, effective August 1, 2018.
