Bio
Steve Hall is a Professor in the Department of Biological and Agricultural Engineering, with teaching, research and extension responsibilities. He is Director of the Marine Aquaculture Research Center, Editor of the journal Aquacultural Engineering and brings experience from Cornell, McGill, UC Davis, UB and Louisiana State Universities as well as international experience in water management. His foci include sustainable and productive aquaculture, including the production of healthy fish, algae and other aquatic species, as well as environmental protection and restoration. He has also worked in food safety and value added bioprocessing, and explores the intersection of science and Christian practice. He has strong interest in animal and plant welfare, human health and environmental sustainability, as well as the ethics of food, technology and the environment.
