NC State Receives NSF Grant to Establish the Center for Accelerated Photocatalysis

The National Science Foundation (NSF) announced that North Carolina State University will direct a center that deploys self-driving labs to accelerate discovery for reactions which use light as a catalyst in challenging chemical transformations. The NSF Center for Accelerated Photocatalysis is supported by an NSF Centers for Chemical Innovation Program Phase I grant.

Celebrating 100 Years of Continuing and Lifelong Education at NC State

On Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2024, NC State University’s Continuing and Lifelong Education division proudly commemorated its 100th anniversary with a vibrant and inspiring full-day celebration at the Jane S. McKimmon Conference and Training Center. The event brought together faculty, staff, and community members for a series of enriching activities designed to highlight the transformative impact of continuing education.

New Building Will Take Familiar Name

North Carolina State University’s Integrative Sciences Building, currently under construction and scheduled to open on the Brickyard in 2026, will be known as Woodson Hall in honor of Chancellor Randy Woodson, the university’s Board of Trustees announced on Sept. 6..
