Dear faculty and staff,
We’re just a few days away from fall commencement and a much-anticipated winter break. Of course, I’m sure that no one is as excited as our 3,315 students who will soon take on the title of Wolfpack alumni.
Those students will have earned 50 associate, 2,011 undergraduate, 977 master’s and 401 doctoral degrees. With the 6,994 degrees NC State conferred last May, the university will award a total of 10,433 degrees in 2024. You can learn more about a few of our graduates in this newsletter.
This month, we’re also celebrating the 100th edition of the Provost’s Office newsletter. I want to thank each of your for your regular readership since September 2016, and I look forward to sharing more about what’s happening on campus in the future.
Thank you for making 2024 a great year to be a member of the NC State family. I wish you peace, joy and restful time with loved ones this holiday season. Here’s to what’s next in 2025.
