Envisioning “Charlanta”

As the population of the Southeastern U.S. continues to grow and urbanize, it is projected that sprawl could create a continuous urban landscape stretching from Charlotte to Atlanta and beyond, dubbed “Charlanta.” In anticipation of such a megacity, the “Envisioning Urban Futures: Charlanta” symposium was held this past November.

Ready for a New Chapter

NC State’s fall 2024 commencement ceremony will welcome 3,315 graduates into the Wolfpack alumni family. Together they will have earned 50 associate, 2,011 undergraduate, 977 master’s and 401 doctoral degrees. Every tassel turned represents a story of hard work, innovation and determination to succeed. We’re showcasing some of those stories here.

ACC Academic Leaders Gather at NC State

NC State’s Office for Faculty Excellence hosted nearly 100 academic leaders from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) for the ACC Academic Leaders Network (ALN) conference Nov. 18-20.
