Dear faculty and staff,
We’re nearing the end of the 2023-24 academic year. I wish all of you the best as you prepare for final classes and exams, which are right around the corner.
The university held an incredibly successful Day of Giving on March 20, where generous donors made nearly 22,000 gifts that helped us raise more than $46 million. What a feat!
We’re also preparing for spring 2024 commencement, which will take place on Saturday, May 4 at PNC Arena. I can’t wait to share the excitement of our students-turned-graduates in just a short time.
Of course, the campus is celebrating all of your accomplishments as well this year. We recently honored the winners of the Provost’s Unit Awards for Excellence in March, as well as the University Teaching Awards on April 11. On April 30, we will continue honoring your peers and colleagues through the annual Celebration of Faculty Excellence.
Congratulations to all of our award winners this year, and to all of you who help make NC State a great place to call home. I look forward to a successful end of the semester, and wish you all well in what’s next.
